What is Impact Attendant?
The Impact Attendant CTI application is a powerful communications tool that runs on your PC and interacts with your phone system through a LAN or serial connection. It lets the person answering your phone control all aspects of communications with ease and professionalism, all from a personal computer.

Your operator and an Impact Attendant-powered PC make a powerful team to route incoming calls, track down staff, and initiate conference calls - all while conveying warmth and a smile, along with an air of professional confidence. This gives your attendant the control, flexibility, and tools to best represent your company to the world.

Empower Your Attendant
Through the familiar Windows® interface, your attendant can:

  • answer the telephone, transfer calls, and conference callers with the simple click of a mouse or by using intuitive hot keys
  • at a glance determine who is currently on the phone, the length of calls in progress, and more
  • send a message to a PC or pager to alert someone on the phone to an important announcement, an upcoming meeting, or of another caller

Impact Group

Communications that Work for Workgroups
Bring people in workgroups together as never before with Impact Group software, Comdial's powerful call-processing CTI application. The Impact Group option gives you a robust desktop tool to integrate computers with telephones. It takes all the telephony functions of your telephone and those of your team and integrates them with your computer. This improves the efficiency of common telephone tasks, and assists in collaboration and communication between you and other members of your workgroup.

Desktop Interface for Telephone Functions
The Impact Group application starts by giving you basic telephone functions such as transferring or conferencing calls, and then enhances them with simple, point-and-click and drag-and-drop technology. Add to that a seamless integration with your database that lets you preview information about the caller prior to answering the call. Group also includes a built-in address book to store name, phone number, notes and other information in your personal directory.

Call Management Tool
With Impact Group software you can integrate an entire department's activity to improve call handling response and customer service. Users can see at a glance the call status of everyone in the group through a colorful display of phone icons that represent each member, along with a color indicating call status. For example, a green phone icon means that person is busy with a call, while a blue icon means a phone is ringing.


First Class Customer Service
This tool lets anyone within a group handle incoming calls, regardless of who's phone is ringing. You simply drag-and-drop another co-workers ringing telephone icon onto your answer window to take the call. You can even retrieve a call that's on hold at another extension.

 

Corporate Call

Comdial's Corporate Call software combines desktop PCs with your phone system so that your entire staff can manage calls from their offices. This telecommunications solution integrates the contact management capabilities of Microsoft Outlook with a business phone system to make managing calls as easy as point-and-click.

Just click on an entry in your Microsoft contacts or personal address book, and the system dials the number for you. What could be simpler?

Close integration with Outlook's easy-to-use interface means you and your staff will be up and running without the steep learning curve associated with some new software.

Manage Communications from your Desktop
You'll never have to remember a phone number or flip through a directory again. Simply type in the name of your contact and the Corporate Call interface will pull the number you need from your personal directory. No need to even dial! Just click the dial icon, type a couple of letters, and press enter. You can even dial phone numbers from email messages by simply dragging and dropping the number on the Corporate Call toolbar.

 

 

 

Conference Calls with Just a Click of the Mouse
Take advantage of the contact and exchange directories in Outlook when calling, transferring, and setting up conference calls. Just select the conference participants' names from the directory and let the conference begin. You can stay in touch with your clients and business associates whether you're in the office or on the road. Configure Corporate Call to forward all emails or just high-priority emails to your cell phone or pager so you can act on messages wherever you are. Corporate Call can also page you about upcoming appointments in your Outlook calendar, or even inform internal callers when you're in a scheduled meeting.

Get up to Speed before the Conversation Begins
Corporate Call's screen-pop feature delivers valuable information about incoming callers to ensure more productive conversations from the start. When you activate screen pops, Corporate Call compares caller ID information with the contact and address book information stored in your Microsoft Exchange® database and local .myd files to deliver information about the caller.

When no contact or address book information is available, Corporate Call still displays the caller's name, telephone number, and the geographic origin of the call (where Caller ID available).
